Ethical Man: The modern world intrudes on the Amish

For centuries Amish communities in the United States have avoided the trappings of the modern world. Many of them refuse to drive or use mains electricity, and they often dress in bonnets and simple suits, with buttons and not zips. Many refuse to be filmed or photographed.

Newsnight's Ethical Man, Justin Rowlatt was given a rare invitation into the often closed world of the Amish for a glimpse of how the modern world has begun to intrude on the Amish lifestyle.
