Fry on expenses: 'It's not important'

Actor Stephen Fry has criticised the interest in MPs' expenses and said that: "It's not that important, it really isn't."

Gordon Brown has said "mistakes" were made by MPs in their use of House of Commons expenses. But Fry told the BBC's Newsnight that he had "cheated things and fiddled things" and that the expenses revelations should not put people off voting.
