Tony and me... and you
Tony Blair meets...
Did you meet Tony?
Newsnight invites you to make your own short film recollecting the Blair years - the best of which will be shown on the programme.

Tony Blair will stand down as prime minister on 27 June 2007.

Between now and then Newsnight will be reflecting on his decade in office with a series of short films entitled Tony and Me, in which the great and the good reminisce about the times they met the him or things that have happened during his time in office.

But we want you to take part too. Did you meet the prime minister? What are your abiding memories of Tony Blair and his government?

In the manner of our hugely successful Oh My Newsnight competition, we want you to make a brief film (two minutes maximum) about Tony and you.

It can be a paean to his premiership or an indictment of his record. It can be a straight piece to camera (what we call a rant) or a full-on production. Perhaps you even have video of yourself meeting Mr Blair.

When you're happy with your film, post it on a video hosting site (such as YouTube, putfile, iFilm etc) and then send us the link. If we like it we'll put it on our website and the best will get shown on Newsnight.

Jeremy is, of course, very keen.

NOTE: Please do not undertake any hazardous activity in making your film; our journalists are trained to work in dangerous conditions - we don't want you to.
Also, please ensure that all participants in your piece consent to being filmed and you do not breach any law in making your film.

Finally, read please the terms of entry.

Submit your film here.
