DETAILS OF TONIGHT'S PROGRAMME

From Gavin Esler:

Immigration

We have an extraordinary report on how the latest waves of immigration are transforming Britain.

In the relatively small town of Crewe there are now over 3,000 Polish immigrants.

However welcome they may be for their skills and their enterprise, their presence has put a huge strain on existing facilities.

Imagine, for example, how one local head teacher must have felt when over 20 new children turned up demanding an education.

Does the government have any idea about who is coming to Britain, where they are going, what demand they are putting on our public services and whether or not they will return to their home country?

I'll be asking the Immigration Minister Tony McNulty.
