Su Doku solution and winners

Last week Newsnight joined the Su Doku craze by setting its own version of the puzzle.

The Newsnight office has since been inundated with entries from viewers desperate to get their hands on one of Jeremy Paxman's spicy sauces.

The solution is published above but anxious enthusiasts had to wait until Tuesday night's programme to see if they'd won.

Mr Paxman pulled six winning entries from our tatty tombola, live on air.

Not since the wild days of the weather versus markets controversy has there been anything quite so exciting in the programme's running order.

And the winners are:

The winners will shortly be receiving their fabulous bottles of spicy sauce.
