On Wednesday's programme Vincent Duggleby put your tax questions to a panel of experts.
A recent report by the House of Commons Committee of Public Accounts says that many older people pay more tax than they need to.
Some 2.4 million older people have overpaid £200m in tax on their savings income.
A further £250m tax has been overpaid due to discrepancies between HM Revenue and Customs records and those of employers and pension providers.
The report also says that HMRC does not know how many people miss out on the age-related allowances they are entitled to.
If you have a question about tax planning or making the most of your personal allowances Vincent Dubbleby and a panel of experts will ready help.
Are you entitled to tax-free interest on savings?
