Home repossessions
Detached house
145,000 mortgages will be over 3 months in arrears in 2007 say the CML

Home repossessions are expected to rise in 2008. The Council of Mortgage Lenders are predicting that repossessions could total 30,000 in 2007 and 45,000 in 2008.

A senior judge handling debt cases says mortgage holders who get into financial trouble shouldn't give in to bullying tactics from lenders. Bob Howard reported.
