BBC Radio 4's Money Box Live was broadcast on Monday, 1 October 2007, at 1502 BST.

The latest minimum wage increase took effect on Monday 1 October, and on the same day workers became entitled to more paid holiday.

It was also the first anniversary of the introduction of the age discrimination legislation.

How can you make sure that you are being paid correctly - and getting all the leave you should?

Where can you get help if you are facing discrimination at work?

Do you want advice about asking your employer to let you work more flexibly?

What are the rules for employers if they want to discipline or sack a member of staff?

On Monday's programme, presenter Paul Lewis took your calls on rights at work and put them to an expert panel.

Paul Lewis was joined by:

  • Dorothy Henderson, partner, Travers Smith
  • Sarah Veale, head of equality and employment rights, TUC
  • Gareth Brahams, partner, Lewis Silkin

    Presenter: Paul Lewis
    Producer: Jennifer Clarke
