Wills and inheritance tax
Wills

BBC Radio 4's Money Box was broadcast on Monday, 21 November, 2005 at 1502 GMT.

Less than half of us have an up-to-date will, and without one the state will decide what to do with our assets.

Money Box Live gave those people who have been putting off the deed some practical advice on how to go about it.

We were joined by:

  • Jan Wright, Solicitor, Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors
  • Mike Warburton, Senior Tax Partner, Grant Thornton
  • Paul Elmhirst of Elmhirst Solicitors, also Author of Wills and Probate, a Which? book

    Producer: Sonia Rothwell
    Presenter: Vincent Duggleby
