Inside Money is the sister series to BBC Radio 4's Money Box programme, and it is broadcast every summer while Money Box takes a break.

Each programme gives a BBC Radio 4 listener the chance to explore a financial issue which gets them hot under the collar.

It is their chance to tell their story and put their questions to the people at the top.

Lesley Curwen has presented Inside Money since July 2000.

She shares her wealth of money and business expertise to guide listeners through the sometimes bewildering world of personal finance.

She is on their side, helping them to get the answers they want and asking tough questions of her own.

In recent years the programme has looked at inflation, critical illness insurance, long term fixed mortgages, home information packs, tax credits, the crisis in occupational pensions, buy-to-let, equity release, with-profits, split capital investment trusts, endowment shortfalls, investing for children, pyramid schemes and financial advertising.

Inside Money has won a number of awards. In 2002, the programme was voted Broadcast Programme of the Year in the Bradford and Bingley Personal Finance Media Awards.
