Lewis Moody: How I kept bowel disease secret

When the former England rugby captain Lewis Moody was diagnosed with the inflammatory bowel disease Ulcerative Colitis he hid the news from his teammates fearing it would damage his career.

He tells Stephen Sackur that keeping the illness secret, when symptoms included frequent toilet visits and heavy weight loss, was not easy.
