James Robinson: Democracy will counter financial elites

In his book, Why Nations Fail, the renowned Harvard academic James Robinson argues a healthy democracy is key to a successful, functioning society.

He tells Stephen Sackur that even though financial elites are getting stronger and inequality is growing, democracy is still vibrant in America and that will enable the system to respond and correct the imbalances.
