Ali Dizaei: My police career is not over

The disgraced British Metropolitan Police commander Ali Dizaei insists his police career is not over despite convictions for misconduct in a public office and perverting the course of justice.

He told HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur he was convinced he would prove there had been a miscarriage of justice and had no intention of resigning as a police commander.

He is currently out of prison on an electronic tag, pending his appeal and the outcome of a disciplinary review over whether he will be dismissed from his job.
