Next Tibetan spiritual leader 'to be born outside Tibet'

The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, has withdrawn from active politics.

Lobsang Sangay was recently elected to head the Tibetan exile movement and must now lead his people's struggle for greater autonomy from Beijing. He has an impressive record as a scholar in the United States, but he has never actually set foot inside Tibet.

Hardtalk's Stephen Sackur asked him whether Tibetan unity will fracture as the leadership passes to a new generation?
