In a HARDtalk interview broadcast on 8 July 2009, Zeinab Badawi talks to the multimillionaire businesswoman, Lynn Forester, Lady de Rothschild.

She is a lifelong Democrat and was a prominent supporter and fundraiser for Hillary Clinton.

But she defected to the Republican campaign last year when Barack Obama won the presidential nomination.

She says President Obama is an elitist and is taking America too far to the left.

Zeinab Badawi asks whether, six months on, her fears have been justified.
