As the global downturn continues to bite Paul Kagame, the President of Rwanda, has been impressing on western leaders not to scale back their support for Africa.

His case, however, has not been helped by widespread western unease about Rwanda's role in neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo.

Does Rwanda risk losing international support as it flexes its regional muscle? President Kagame talks to Stephen Sackur.
