She was held for more than six years in the Colombian jungle by left wing guerrillas.

Kidnapped in 2002 whilst campaigning to become Colombia’s President, Ingrid Betancourt, was rescued last week in an

audacious effort by Colombian intelligence.

Her focus now she says, is for the release of the remaining hostages held in the Colombian jungle and she says she won’t rule out running for President again.

She talks to Stephen Sackur.
