In a HARDtalk interview shown on 8th May 2008, Stephen Sackur talks to Peter Mandelson.
He says he's had assurances from key players in the American Democratic party about a world trade agreement.
Peter Mandelson says that as long as the bulk of a deal has been done with the Bush administration it would not be undone by a Democratic presidency.
Stephen Sackur talks to Mr Mandelson in Brussels where he's still trying to negotiate the Doha trade round.
