Robin Gibb: Global success as part of the Bee Gees

Hardtalk Extra - In a programme first broadcast on Friday 12th October 2007 Gavin Esler talks to Bee Gee Robin Gibb.

It's been 30 years since the Bee Gees released Saturday Night Fever, one of the best selling pop albums of all time and the best-selling soundtrack ever.

The Gibb family came from humble roots on the Isle of Man but the Bee Gees grew to be the fifth best-selling act of all time.

Robin Gibb talks about how the loss of his brother Maurice still affects him and why he thinks the Bee Gees sound is still popular to this day.

Hardtalk Extra is broadcast on BBC News 24 at 02:30h, 04:30h and 23:30h
