President Saakashvili is keen for Georgia to join NATO.

Stephen Sackur talks to the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.

When Vladimir Putin's Russia flexes its strategic muscle the neighbouring state of Georgia has reason to be nervous.

Last year Moscow imposed an economic embargo and Russian troops still have bases on Georgian soil.

So it comes as no surprise that the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili is pushing hard for NATO membership.

But Stephen Sackur asks him, does Georgian membership of the western military alliance really make sense?
