The British Government has released satellite information it says proves the 15 navy personnel captured by Iran were not in Iranian waters when they were seized.
The Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett said diplomacy to free the captives had entered a new phase and that all other business between Britain and Iran was frozen.
Nicholas Burns is the US Under Secretary of State.
In an interview for Hardtalk he said every member of NATO is behind Britain.
