B&Q: marketing green technology products

During the first week of January, Hardtalk will be taking a closer look at Business. Today Jenny Scott meets Ian Cheshire, CEO of B&Q.

Ian Cheshire is a senior executive at Europe's largest home improvement retailer, B&Q.

The company started marketing wind turbines and solar panels commercially - in fact, it's a key part of its business strategy.

But is it really down to companies to promote the environment - or is it up to governments?

HARDtalk can be seen on BBC World at 0430 GMT 0930 GMT 1430 GMT 1930 GMT 0030 GMT.
