In a Hardtalk Extra programme broadcast on Friday 11th August, Gavin Esler talked to cult animator, and film director, Terry Gilliam.
Terry Gilliam first came to
world attention as one of the Monty Python comedy team, working as their in-house animator.
By directing their feature films, like The Meaning of Life and The Holy Grail, he made his break into mainstream cinema.
A love-hate relationship with Hollywood has included hits like The Fisher King and Twelve Monkeys, as well as misses like The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
He tells Gavin Esler why he has to live with the nickname "Captain Chaos".
HARDtalk Extra can be seen on BBC World at 0330 GMT, 0830 GMT, 1430 GMT, 1830 GMT, 2330 GMT.
It can also be seen on BBC News 24 at 04:30 and 23:30.
