The Afghan Women's National Football Team is going from strength to strength.

Ten years ago, it would have unthinkable for young women to leave their homes, let alone excel in the sport.

The BBC's George Alagiah has been to see the players in action.

GMT with George Alagiah is broadcast weekdays at 1200 and 1230 GMT on BBC World News channel. Find out more information about regional broadcast times here.
