Foreign forces tackle the terrain in Afghanistan


As well as the Taliban-led insurgency another challenge for international forces operating in Afghanistan is the terrain.

British forces now have a new highly agile armoured vehicle to protect patrols in the field.

The Warthog can cross trenches, tackle vertical obstacles and power-up steep gradients.

George Alagiah has been taken for a test drive in Helmand province.
