Achieving peace in the Middle East is often associated with checkpoints, blockades and fortifications. But there are groups trying to bridge the divide and bring about peace through mutual understanding.

One such organisation is called Combatants for Peace, a group made of up former combatants who have teamed up to communicate a very different message about overcoming their differences.

David Eades spoke to two members of Combatants for Peace, Malaka Samara and Ben Yeger.
