Back pay awards could cost local councils dear
Britain's town halls are now facing wage reviews and thousands of claims for back pay from women workers who had been earning less than their male counterparts.

But how are cash strapped local authorities going to meet the potential bill of 2.8bn.

As some councils seek to equalise pay there are a new winners and losers including some women who are even receiving pay cuts.

Jenny Cuffe reports on the way different local authorities are coping with this challenge.
