Frequent flyers into history

For some people flying is a chore while for others it is just a quick way of getting from one city to another - but for one group of enthusiasts it is an opportunity to savour moments of airline history.

For them no flight is too long or too expensive - so long as it is an aviation one-off.

Carmen Roberts joined a group of flying airline devotees on board Singapore Airlines last Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jet flight from Singapore to Hong Kong and back.
