Turkish TV soap operas have now become so popular in the Arabic speaking world that the shows are driving a boom in tourism from the Middle East to Turkey.

Rajan Datar dropped in on a shoot of the Turkish version of Desperate Housewives and was offered a role in the show that pulls in huge audiences every week.
