Will low cost Caribbean island hopping ever take off?

While cheap air travel is something that many around the globe take for granted, in the Caribbean there is still no successful operator.

In some cases it is cheaper to fly to the islands than between them. Redjet tried to change that when it became the first low cost carrier to enter the market but it soon ran into trouble.

Can the dream of cheap Caribbean flights ever be realised? Nick Davis reports from Barbados.
