Fighting illegal logging with elephants in Sumatra


Illegal logging used to be one of the only job prospects for generations of locals in Tangkahan, Sumatra.

Now eco-tourism is providing them with an alternative livelihood and an opportunity to prevent the destruction of the rainforest.

Carmen Roberts joined the elephants of Tangkahan as they patrol the jungle, on the look out for illegal activity.
