The godfather of supper clubs


Thirty years ago Jim Haynes set up a weekly open-house supper club at his apartment in Paris, cooking dinner for anyone who wanted to attend.

His idea sparked a trend for supper clubs that has spread around the world.

Rajan Datar visited some of Paris' supper clubs.
