How to play Barbados road tennis

A cross between lawn tennis and table tennis, road tennis got its name because it was played on back streets and quiet roads. It originated in Barbados - probably in the early 1930s.

The rules of road tennis are identical to those of table tennis. The court is like an overgrown table tennis board painted on a paved surface. The racquets are made of wood and resemble large table tennis racquets.
