What keeps Filipino prisoners dancing to Thriller?

Filipino prisoners on the island of Cebu became a YouTube hit, averaging 300,000 views a day, because of their choreographed dance sequences to the music of Michael Jackson.

They even made it in to the official Michael Jackson tribute DVD. Now they perform for BBC cameras, but are these prisoners really that happy to be performing?
