Christian is a bar and restaurant owner, in turn importing metropolitan living to Jakarta, and exporting the Made in Indonesia brand around the globe. Sular the street vendor works to provide for his family in a village in Central Java, where recent heavy rains have led to poor rice harvests. Ulil Abshar Abdalla is a religious scholar, his main concern is that the world's most populous Muslim nation shouldn't follow a fundamentalist path. These are just some of the stories revealed to us through six characters and their daily working lives - what do these stories tell us about Indonesia today?
