Battle of the bushmen

BBC Radio 4's Crossing Continents was broadcast on Thursday, 10 November, 2005 at 1102 GMT.

The programme was repeated on Monday, 14 November, 2005 at 2030 GMT.

The last remaining San Bushmen of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana are fighting a desperate battle to remain on their ancestral land.

British charity Survival International has led a global media campaign in an effort to draw international attention to their plight.

Paul Kenyon travels to Botswana to investigate claims that the tactics used by the organisation are making matters worse.
