Richard Miron has been a radio and television journalist for 15 years.
He has worked for BBC national and international networks, including BBC Radio 4, World Service Television and Radio, BBC 2, and BBC News 24, as a news correspondent.
He has produced radio documentaries and reported on leading BBC Radio 4 current affairs programmes including; 'Today' 'The World at One' 'PM' and 'The World This Weekend'.
For a number of years, Richard was based in the Middle East, and has worked in Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Balkans.
In 1997, Richard received an Achievement in Radio Award in the United States, for his coverage of a suicide bombing in Jerusalem.
Richard has also broadcast on other networks including American Public Radio, South African Broadcasting, and RTE Irish Radio.
In addition, Richard writes for magazines and national newspapers in the UK.
