FAQs

These are some of the most common questions we are asked by listeners:

When is the programme on?

When a series is running, the programmes are broadcast on Thursdays at 1100 GMT/BST and are repeated on Mondays at 2030 GMT/BST on BBC Radio 4.

The next series will start on Thursday 13 November, 2008.

Can I listen to the programme on this site?

Yes. the "latest programme" audio link on the top right of each page is updated each week with the latest programme.

Why will my computer not play the audio?

If you cannot listen to the audio clips, it could be that your computer does not have the correct software needed to watch video or listen to audio from a BBC website. You can download Real Player for free, which will enable you to watch or listen to all BBC website clips, from the RealPlayer website.

Why has my Have Your Say comment not been published?

We cannot publish all comments that we receive because of the high volume. However, we aim to publish a good cross-section of the views we receive.

Why has my comment been edited?

The BBC is responsible for all the comments published on the site. Therefore, we have to remove any libellous or potentially libellous statements from messages. We also aim to publish as many comments as possible, and will sometimes shorten statements to make it easier for users to read as many different views as possible.

We do not provide programme transcripts, but you can find information, audio, stories, pictures, and links relevant to each programme on the site.
