Correspondent video requests

You can order copies of transmitted Correspondent films.
They are available on VHS format.

For personal use, they can be obtained by sending a request to:

There is a cost of £25* for the VHS, but for customers living in countries where NTSC format is required, the cost will be £35*. Cheques should be made payable to 'BBC TV'.

We can sometimes provide educational and training copies, when they are copyright cleared. These copies cost £125, plus delivery and VAT. You can certainly make requests to us either by post:

Important: Correspondent makes videos available as a courtesy service, and is under no obligation to do so. The BBC is a public service and is not meant to make money. The prices quoted only cover costs; we do not make any profit.

We only accept payment by cheque, credit cards cannot be used. We can provide programmes in the PAL video format, which is the UK standard format, or for those countries that use the NTSC there is a small additional charge - see above. Tapes are dispatched within 2-3 weeks of receipt of a cheque; we are unable to cater for requests for faster delivery.

There is an extra charge of £5 per VHS for shipment outside the United Kingdom.

*The price includes postage and packing. We will not accept payment in other currencies. You can go to your bank and ask for a cheque to be made out in Pounds Sterling. Any bank will do this and may charge a small fee for doing so.
