Belon.gs is a global lost and found service that uses QR code stickers to mark an item, allowing you to tag it in a database in the hope that someone honest will find it, log on to the website and get it back to you.

Safeknight is a smartphone app that gives you peace of mind by letting you photograph a landmark and save your GPS location, which can be handed over to the police on request if you should ever go missing.

And for fans of Monty Python there is the Silly Walk Generator. This website lets you make your own animated sequence using Monty Python characters which you can save and share or email to a friend.
