Webscape: What Google can do with your love


Kate Russell's weekly review of websites and apps.

The Brush DJ smartphone app plays a track from your music collection while you clean your teeth and offers tips and encouragement for the best possible dental care.

What do you love? is a Google-powered search tool which asks you to tell it what you love, then it queries all of the company's own resources for ways to enhance that love.

Youarelistening.to is a mash-up that brings together sights, sounds and music to evoke various cities around the United States.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Landsat satellites NASA has pulled together some of the best pictures of earth from space.

And if you can't get enough of the latest Batman film Dark Knight Rises, Z+ is an iPhone app that uses a mixture of music from the film composed by Hans Zimmer, sound effects and the ambient noises picked up by your phone's microphone to create an atmospheric audio-scape reminiscent of a walk through Gotham city, that changes pace as you do.
