IBM's Sequoia has officially become the world's fastest supercomputer. It is the first time the United States has taken the top spot since 2009, when it was overtaken by China.

Microsoft unveils Surface - its own-brand family of tablet computers - to challenge Apple's iPad.

And Google says it saw an "alarming" rise in the number of times governments requested censorship of online content in the last six months of 2011.
