Pinterest is an image-based social network and discovery tool that asks users to create boards around a particular interest.

Photo-sharing site Flickr is rolling out a big change, bringing its dashboard up-to-date with a style makeover reminiscent of Pinterest's boards.

The Flat Stanley Project encourages children to learn about other cultures by writing to each other from schools all over the world.

And Feb29th.net wants to know what people will be doing during on the extra day of the year.
