Robots tackle football at RoboCup in Istanbul

Robots and football made an unlikely but entertaining combination at the RoboCup 2011 tournament in Istanbul.

The cup's grand plan is to develop a team of autonomous robots that can win against the human champion team by 2050. It may seem ambitious, but each year the robots get a little faster and a little more intelligent.

Andrew Webb reports from Turkey.
