Is every morning a bit of a drag? Is it a case of two coffees and a cold shower before you can even face the day? It could be the time you are waking up.

Whilst alarm clock manufacturers have been creative in bringing us everything from birdsong to dawn simulators, the answer to waking up feeling refreshed could lie in an alarm that recognises the body's sleep pattern and works in sync with it.
