Prototype could remove need for 3D cameras

It was slow to start but 3D television really looks as though it could be here to stay. The problem is that with the technology in its infancy, the two-lens cameras are very expensive to buy.

Spencer Kelly looks at the idea behind a new, single-lens 3D camera that does away with the extra lens that, up until now, has been needed to add depth.
