Wireless internet increases community's connections

Every child at Warren Park Primary School in Hampshire has been given a netbook to help with learning. But many of the children do not have internet access at home, a problem that the school has addressed in a novel way.

Wireless receivers are placed throughout the community offering free broadband connections to all.

But, as Spencer Kelly finds out, the technology is not only about getting online - it is also helping to build a real life community.
