This award winning app for the iPhone has pretty much everything you would expect from a simple organiser.

The interface is attractive and links a task directly to a contact.

The lite version of this app is free - the full paid-for version comes with features such as a handy sync tool for PC and Mac.

Another organiser site Easy Note allows users to write quick notes - the predictive text when using the virtual keyboard is a good feature despite a quirky bug on the Enter key. Otherwise great little tool for free.

This free widget lets website owners embed a button on their pages to make sharing easy.

One click and the reader has a multitude of options without having to clutter up their webpages with buttons.

If your favourite sites do not have a button for sharing, it is also possible to do this from your Firefox or Internet Explorer browser.

Site owners and bloggers can also get useful free statistics - be warned that this device which will track your web journeys.

Drag the bookmark for this site onto your toolbar in Firefox or Internet Explorer and when you post a tweet it automatically shortens the text.

It seems to work OK with Chrome too, but it is not officially supported.

It does not take a genius to reduce a post to 140 characters with common abbreviations, but I do like that it auto-shortens URLs.
