Steve Ballmer says touch will not replace keyboards

Touchscreen technology will not replace a computer's keyboard and mouse in the future, according to Microsoft's chief executive Steve Ballmer.

In an interview with Click he explained why the firm is choosing to wait and watch how consumers react to Google's new smartphone.

He also emphasised that Microsoft was still competitive despite Google's recent developments.
