Kate Russell gives us her latest selection of the best sites on the World Wide Web.

Baackpain website

The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites.

Our first site today heralds the return of a popular 80's rock band - Baackpain!

Never heard of them? Well, that is because this is a rather novel way to introduce you to dealing with and preventing pain in your back.

Despite its punky appeal, this site is actually run by the UK government.

Back pain has to be one of the most common and varied ailments in the world, and can be caused by all sorts of things from bad posture, to manual work, to poor bedding and chairs.

In these pages you will find loads of tips and advice to keep your back healthy, and whilst it is a British site the content here is relevant the world over.

All the stories and articles are told from the perspective of various band members and their roadies, which makes it a more interesting read than you might think.

With advice for both the people and their employers, you can just keep browsing through the content to see what you find.

Perhaps the fake band thing gets a little tired quite quickly? If so, just skip through the intro paragraphs to the health related content below.

Barking mad website

The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites.

Next up, is a suggestion from viewer Ross Landles, who is absolutely Baking Mad.

If you like cake you are going to love this site.

From the very opening page the design is delicious. There are plenty of mouth-watering illustrations, and with a menubar across the top it is a real dream to navigate.

Check out the recipes drop-down menu first for the staples, then why not sift for ideas under baking ideas. Here you will find suggestions for particular occasions, such as morning coffee treats and winter warmers.

All the recipes are really easy to follow, with step-by-step instructions and plenty of pictures to illustrate.

And because cakes are not traditionally considered a healthy food, if you want to know all about nutrition then browse through the sections under health.

Precious website

The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites.

Precious Online is a great specialist interest website that has articles and features that should appeal to women from a number of ethnic backgrounds.

This is an online magazine, so it is laid out in a very familiar magazine style.

With links to the various sections across the top it is simple to find your way around from business and career, to art and culture.

I like the articles under features and reportage and as far as I can make out, the content here changes quite regularly, so it is worth book-marking this one to visit time and again.

The lifestyle tab is loaded up with all the usual features and articles about taking care of your hair and skin.
